The CHL Top Prospects game takes place tonight in Kelowna. Everett defenseman Ryan Murray is captaining Team Cherry. The game’s progress can be followed on the official website.
The skills competition took place Tuesday night. Murray participated in the hardest-shot competition and finished second with a speed of 94.3 mph. Have to admit, I’m a little surprised that of all the skills competitions Murray was chosen for the hardest shot, and have to admit I’m surprised he finished so high. When I think of Ryan Murray his shot is one of the last things I consider. But that’s a potential top-10 NHL draft pick for you.
