At long last, it looks like there’s movement in the Mariners-Orioles trade efforts. Adam Jones has traveled to Baltimore for a physical exam, the Baltimore Sun reported Monday morning.
Does that mean the deal is nearly done? I wouldn’t count on anything with this one, which seemed to be going down a week ago, only to look like it was going down in flames.
If the report of Jones going to Baltimore for a physical is accurate, then it means the M’s and Orioles have worked out the issues that stalled the trade a week ago.
