PASCO — The Everett AquaSox didn’t have much success against the middle of the Tri-City Dust Devils order, but it was the tail end that did the big damage.
Nos. 8 and 9 batters in the order Chris Vasami and Chad Lembech each homered, and the Dust Devils defeated the AquaSox 6-1 Wednesday night at Gesa Stadium.
Vasami hit a solo homer in the second inning and Lembech smacked a two-run shot in the third, helping stake Tri-City (14-8) to an early 4-0 lead. For both it was their first homer of the season.
