Receiver Mike Williams sat out practiced for the third straight day while wearing a plastic boot to protect his sprained left foot, but Pete Carroll hasn’t ruled Williams out just yet.
“It’s going to game day, we don’t know,’ he said. “We’re going to work him on game day, we’ll hold him all the way until then, and if he can go and go full speed, he’ll be involved.”
Another game-day decision will be full back Michael Robinson, who has missed four games with a hamstring injury. Robinson did practice this week. “We don’t know yet,” Carroll said. “We’ll call it at game time.”
The injury news is better for cornerback Marcus Trufant, who suffered a concussion in Sunday’s loss in New Orleans. Trufant was cleared by doctors today and practiced for the first time this week, and will play against the Chiefs.
“He’s going to be OK,” Carroll said. “He did everything right as far as passing his tests and made it through today fine, so he’ll be playing on Sunday.”
G Mike Gibson will also return from a sprained ankle, and with Chester Pitts out, Gibson will start at left guard.
WR Golden Tate practiced all week and is expected to play this week as well after missing three games with an ankle sprain.
