We got word last week that linebacker Trenton Tuiasosopo was looking into a sixth year of eligibility because he’s missed two years to injuries, and it turns out the Mariner High grad has been granted an extra year.
Washington compliance director said that Tuiasosopo was granted the extra year almost a year ago, though Tuiasosopo has been listed as a senior all year. If Tuiasosopo decides to return for another year (hopefully we’ll hear from him today) that means the Huskies would return every defensive starter besides cornerback Mesphin Forrester and defensive tackle Johnie Kirton, who split time with freshman Senio Kelemete.
