IRVING, Texas — Starting center Chris Spencer and left guard Mike Wahle were among the Seattle Seahawks’ inactive players for Thursday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Spencer, who is nursing a sore back, is likely to be replaced by Steve Vallos in the starting lineup. Vallos started three preseason games but has never seen significant action in a regular-season game.
Wahle will miss his second consecutive game because of a sore shoulder. Coach Mike Holmgren said earlier this week that the Seahawks expect him to be back for the New England game in 10 days.
Floyd Womack will start at left guard, sliding over from his typical spot on the right side. Ray Willis will make his second consecutive start at right guard.
The other inactive players are kicker Brandon Coutu (coach’s decision), wide receiver Jordan Kent (coach’s decision), defensive tackle Red Bryant (ankle), safety C.J. Wallace (hamstring) and defensive end Brandon Miller (coach’s decision).
