Tye Hand reassigned

I was glancing at the weekly report in preparation of tonight’s game when I noticed that in Everett’s section defenseman Tye Hand is listed as having been reassigned to the AJHL. There’s no confirmation from the Tips anywhere, but given that it’s on the WHL website, and given that the 16-year-old Hand hasn’t appeared in a game this season, I’m going to assume it’s correct. Further digging on Twitter reveals Hand will be playing for Drumheller.

This move was inevitable, and it brings Everett’s roster down to the 25-player limit: 15 forwards, eight defensemen and two goaltenders. Center Manraj Hayer still doesn’t count toward the limit because he’s on the long-term injury list.
