Feb. 19 will be an important day for athletics in the Mukilteo School District.
That’s when voters will decide whether or not to support a $139.2 million construction bond proposal that would fund many projects, including improvements at Goddard Stadium and Kamiak High School, and the installation of synthetic turf fields at Harbour Pointe Middle School and Voyager Middle School.
I hope I didn’t confuse anyone in my notebook item in today’s Herald about the upcoming bond proposal. Basically, $15.4 million of the $139.2 million package would go toward upgrading a variety of athletic facilities, not just Goddard Stadium, according to the district Web site.
