SEATTLE — Ashley Corral scored 16 of her 19 points in the second half Thursday to help USC rally for a 69-65 victory over Washington.
Corral made four 3-pointers in the final 6:23 to break a 51-51 tie. The Trojans rallied from a nine-point deficit early in the second half.
Briana Gilbreath and Kari LaPlante had 13 points each for USC (11-6, 5-1 Pac-10), which won its third straight game. Gilbreath scored 10 of her points in the second half. Aarika Hughes added 10 points.
Sami Whitcomb had 22 points and Kristi Kingma 19 to lead Washington (8-9, 3-4), which lost its third consecutive game. Whitcomb shot 4 for 8 on 3-pointers and had 11 rebounds.
Corral, who grew up in Vancouver, Wash., scored 11 consecutive points during a two-minute stretch to break a 51-51 tie and give the Trojans a 62-53 lead. Corral nailed three 3-pointers and a short jumper.
