Just a few minutes away from tip off between the Huskies and Sun Devils, which is another must win for the Washington’s NCAA Tournament hopes.
As I mentioned in today’s story, the Huskies could move all the way from ninth, where they were to start the week, to fifth place depending on how things work out this weekend. Oregon has already lost to UCLA, so if Washington wins, Arizona loses at WSU and Cal loses at Stanford Sunday, the Huskies will be alone in fifth.
It’s senior day today, and Tim Morris and Ryan Appleby were just introduced with their parents at midcourt to a nice standing ovation. One fan has a sign thanking Appleby for “3 years of 3s.” That couldn’t be more appropriate considering that the Stanwood grad now holds the school record for threes made in a game, season and career.
