We’re about 20 minutes from tipoff, and despite some minor concerns that Oregon fans would show up to boo the Huskies, this is definitely sounding like a pro-Husky crowd. Though there are a few pockets fo green that will certainly be vocal along with the Mississippi State fans.
Oh, and one thing UW fans might not be too excited about, the officials just took the floor and none other than Dave Libbey is working this game. I thought that officials weren’t allowed to work games of their own conference, but apparently I was wrong about that.
The winner of this game will get Purdue, which just held off Norther Iowa 61-56.
