There could be some news soon about the chances of Washington quarterback Jake Locker returning to play this season.
Locker is expected to see a hand specialist today to get an update on his broken right thumb. Locker was hurt on Sept. 27 against Stanford and had surgery on his thumb two days later.
Huskies’ offensive coordinator Tim Lappano said Tuesday that Locker perhaps could be done for the season, but he shouldn’t have any problems being ready for spring practice.
