Valpo (sorry, I’m avoiding typing Valparaiso out as much as I can) leads 58-56 with 7:37 to play behind 20 points from Bryan Bouchie. As I mentioned earlier, Bouchie averages 6.7 points per game, and is close to his career high of 23.
Free throws are becoming a problem again for Washington. The Huskies hit eight of 12 in the first half, but are 1 for 8 this half. Three players (Brockman, Dentmon and Bryan-Amaning) all missed the front ends of one and ones in less than a minute.
Brockman now has 16 and seven rebounds for Washington, and Quincy Pondexter has 10 points, six rebounds and four assists, but is on the bench after picking up his fourth foul.
