Ranked No. 3 in Class 4A, the potent Jackson High School boys basketball team rolled to another impressive victory tonight. Following a surprisingly rough first quarter, speedy Jackson turned up the intensity and cruised to an 82-53 victory over the Arlington Eagles in the 4A District 1 tournament semifinals.
After the game I spoke to Jackson players Austin O’Keefe, Brett Kingma and Jason Todd. O’Keefe and Kingma scored 26 points apiece, and Todd — a stellar freshman — nearly had a triple-double: 13 rebounds, 11 points, eight assists. Here is my video interview with the T-wolves trio.
