Kamiak High School’s Bryce Larson is a Class of 2012 volleyball player. Last fall she racked up impressive honors, including a spot on The Herald’s All-Area Second Team and the All-Wesco South 4A First Team.
As she gears up for her senior season at Kamiak, Larson is having an action-packed summer. Her Washington Volleyball Academy team qualified for nationals and placed 20th in the 32-team tournament in Georgia.
In August she will travel to Brazil for a prestigious competition.
In this video interview with The Herald on Wednesday in Mukilteo, Larson — the subject of an upcoming Summer Daze story — talks about her experience at nationals, her verbal commitment to play for her dream school, Western Washington University, and her sister, a Kamiak High grad who plays volleyball for Central Washington University.
