Video interview with Lakewood football player Dustin Stanton

I am starting to work on The Herald’s 2011 high school football preview section. Yep, the first day of football practice is just around the corner.

My Cascade Conference story is going to be about Lakewood High School tight end/outside linebacker Dustin Stanton. He is a 6-foot-6, 216-pounder who verbally committed to Oregon State University.

I drove to Lakewood High today and interviewed Stanton, who told me why he committed to Oregon State, how good he thinks Lakewood will be this season and why he’s particularly excited to have two freshmen on the field with him (hint: they are his twin brothers).
