Mokun Fajemisin is a powerful, speedy Class of 2012 basketball player from Lynnwood High School. She will be the subject of my next Summer Daze story.
The 5-foot-11 Fajemisin was a Wesco 3A First Team post for Lynnwood during her junior season and also was a member of The Herald’s 4A/3A All-Area First Team. She averaged 16.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.1 steals per game, according to MaxPreps.
In this video interview recorded earlier today at Wilcox Park in Lynnwood, Fajemisin talks about what she’s been up to this summer with her AAU team Tree of Hope, the college recruiting process and the valuable advice she gets from her brother.
