On Monday, I stopped by Lake Stevens High School and interviewed Duke Dolphin, a senior running back/linebacker who will be a key member of a talented Vikings team that should score a ton of points this fall.
Dolphin showed exciting potential as a sophomore but missed his entire junior season because of a knee injury. Now he is back, faster and stronger than ever. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder said he recently ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds.
In this interview, Dolphin explains the origin of his catchy name, his busy summer (which included him earning the top SPARQ rating at a prestigious Nike camp in Oregon) and why he thinks Lake Stevens can achieve great things this season.

Here’s another video. I found this one on YouTube. It’s a compilation of Dolphin’s gridiron highlights.
