KENNEWICK — The Marysville-Pilchuck and Monroe High School volleyball teams won their first-round matches Friday at the Class 4A state volleyball tournament.
Edmonds-Woodway losts its opener, 3-0 to Lewis &Clark, to drop into the losers bracket.
Marysville-Pilchuck defeated Curtis 3-2 to advance to a quarterfinal matchup with Skyview at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Monroe downed Rogers of Puyallup 3-1. The Bearcats face Kamiakin in the quarterfinals at 5 p.m. Friday.
