Jessie Brambach | Cascade | Girls Bowling

Brambach, a senior, rolled games of 202 and 193 to lead the Bruins to the Class 4A Northwest District title Jan. 27 at Riverside Lanes in Mount Vernon.

Zachary Bevans | Lynnwood | Boys Swimming

Bevans, a senior, broke the Edmonds School District meet record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.96 seconds Saturday at Lynnwood Pool. Bevans bested the previous mark by 1.44 seconds.

Malakhi Knight | Marysville Getchell | Boys Basketball

Knight, a junior, scored 32 points in the Chargers’ 52-39 Wesco 3A/2A home victory over Shorewood on Jan. 27. On Friday, he collected 34 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 61-57 loss to Marysville Pilchuck.

Devin Leach | Shorewood | Boys Wrestling

Leach, a senior, won all three of his bouts in a triple dual Wednesday at Edmonds-Woodway High School. The 152-pounder, ranked eighth in the state by Washington Wrestling Report, beat Howie Hare (ranked No. 7 at 145) of the host Warriors 8-1, collected a forfeit against Cedarcrest, and defeated Flynn Baird of Ingraham with a 15-0 technical fall.

Ethan Martin | Arlington | Boys Basketball

Martin, a sophomore guard, drilled a 3-pointer with 1.9 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Eagles to a 64-63 victory over Stilly Cup rival Stanwood on Friday in a Wesco 3A/2A contest. Martin finished with a team-high 21 points. The win snapped Stanwood’s 13-game winning streak and was the Spartans’ first conference defeat of the season.

Tucker Molina | Glacier Peak | Boys Basketball

Molina, a junior, scored 19 of his game-high 23 points in the second half as the Grizzlies rallied from a double-digit deficit in the third quarter to beat Mariner 55-49 in matchup of the top two teams in Wesco 4A. Molina, a 6-foot-5 wing, scored 12 of his 23 points at the foul line.

Grace Trichler | Sultan | Girls basketball

Trichler, a sophomore, scored a career-high 39 points to lead the Turks to a 65-45 victory over South Whidbey in a North Sound Conference contest Jan. 28.

Fernie Vasquez | Everett | Boys Wrestling

Vasquez, a senior ranked sixth in the state at 126 pounds by Washington Wrestling Report, defeated Mathew Miller of Snohomish 6-5 in triple overtime at 132 pounds Thursday in a 38-31 Everett victory that clinched the Wesco 3A North championship. Everett and Stanwood both finished the regular season 5-1 in conference dual meets, but the Seagulls beat the Spartans head-to-head on Jan. 24, giving them the tiebreaker.

Lilly Williams | Meadowdale | Girls Basketball

Williams, a senior wing, set a school record with her 203rd made 3-pointer in a 59-29 loss to Shorecrest on Thursday.
