The Athlete of the Week nominees for Jan. 13-19. Voting closes at midnight Sunday. The winner will be announced on next week’s Prep Focus page. Each weekly winner will be included in an Athlete of the Month poll.

Bryan Bunyatipanon | Edmonds-Woodway | Boys Basketball

Bunyatipanon, a senior guard, drilled a game-winning 3-point field goal at the buzzer in the Warriors’ 60-57 come-from-behind victory over Marysville Getchell on Friday. Bunyatipanon also hit the game-tying 3-pointer with 14 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. He finished the contest with 19 points and four steals.

Austin Davis | Marysville Pilchuck | Boys Wrestling

Davis, a senior ranked third in Class 3A at 126 pounds by Washington Wrestling Report, won a 10-8 decision over Bethel’s Ryan Brown, a senior ranked first at 3A in the same weight class, to claim the 126-pound championship Saturday at the Marysville Premier tournament.

Lindsey Ho | Mountlake Terrace | Girls Basketball

Ho, a sophomore guard, scored a game-high 24 points as the Hawks earned their first Wesco 3A/2A win of the season with a 58-53 victory over Oak Harbor on Thursday.

Ian Mahler | Lake Stevens | Boys Basketball

Mahler, a senior guard, made eight 3-point field goals for a game-high 24 points in the Vikings’ 75-65 win over Monroe on Friday.

Keira Marsh | Arlington | Girls Basketball

Marsh, a sophomore guard, made seven 3-point field goals on her way to a game-high 29 points as the Eagles topped Archbishop Murphy 76-59 in Wesco 3A/2A play Friday.

Madi Marshall | Snohomish | Girls Wrestling

Marshall, a junior, won all three of her matches by pin on her way to the 190-pound championship Saturday at the Lady Hawk Invite at Mountlake Terrace High School.

Claudia Rojas-Guzman | Cascade | Girls Wrestling

Rojas-Guzmen, a senior, won the 110-pound weight class Saturday at the Lads and Lasses Invite at Fife High School.

Cheron Smith | Marysville Getchell | Boys Wrestling

Smith, a junior 220-pounder, bumped up to 285 pounds and beat Marysville Pilchuck’s Justin Albee 6-4 in double overtime as the Chargers earned their first-ever dual-meet victory over the Tomahawks with a 54-24 win Thursday. Albee is ranked sixth in the state in Class 3A in the latest Washington Wrestling Report rankings.

Morgan Stacey | Lakewood | Boys Basketball

Stacey, a senior forward, recorded a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds in the Cougars’ 79-51 Northwest Conference victory over Sedro-Woolley on Jan. 13.
