Everett DeLeon | Lake Stevens | Boys Tennis
DeLeon, a sophomore, came back after dropping his set to earn a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory in the No. 4 singles match to help the Vikings edge Glacier Peak 4-3 in their season opener.
Malik Dotson | Lakewood | Football
Dotson, a senior, scored on runs of 62, 5, 32, 57 and 9 yards while racking up 225 yards and five touchdowns on 13 carries in the Cougars’ 69-0 victory over Marysville Getchell. He added a reception for 15 yards.
Nora Patterson | Shorecrest | Girls Soccer
Patterson, a sophomore, notched the game-winning goal in the 88th minute to lead the Scots to a 1-0 overtime victory over Kamiak.
Riley Rudolfo | Monroe | Football
Rudolfo, a senior, nabbed three interceptions and hauled in an 8-yard touchdown reception in the Bearcats’ 14-0 win over Arlington.
Maria Tukan | Kamiak | Volleyball
Tukan, a senior, delivered 13 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 win over Shorecrest on March 2. She followed that performance with 24 kills, 14 digs and two aces in a 3-1 loss to Edmonds-Woodway on March 4.
