Marysville Pilchuck at Arlington, Friday, 7 p.m.
The Class 3A No. 5 Tomahawks visit the Eagles with a chance to clinch a Wesco 3A North title and Week 10 playoff spot with a victory. Unbeaten Marysville Pilchuck (6-0, 5-0 league) is averaging a whopping 51.8 points per game and has won six of its contests by 34 points or more. Arlington (5-1, 4-1), which leads the conference with just 7.3 points allowed per game, needs a win to keep its league title hopes alive.
Mariner vs. Kamiak at Goddard Stadium, Friday, 7 p.m.
Mukilteo School District rivals Mariner and Kamiak square off in a Wesco 4A clash that could help determine who gets one of the league’s three Week 10 playoff berths. The Marauders (3-3, 0-2 league) look to end a three-game losing streak after starting the season 3-0. The 4A 10th-ranked Knights (5-0, 1-0) hope to extend their nine-game winning streak after last week’s game with Glacier Peak was canceled.
Lynnwood vs. Mountlake Terrace at Edmonds Stadium, Friday, 8 p.m.
The Royals and Edmonds School District rival Mountlake Terrace meet with a chance to move into sole possession of fourth place in Wesco 3A South. Lynnwood (2-3, 1-2 league) has won its past two games after an 0-3 start. The Hawks (1-4, 1-2) look to get back in the win column after a blowout loss to Snohomish last week.
North Creek vs. Glacier Peak at Veterans Memorial Stadium, Friday, 7 p.m.
The Jaguars and Grizzlies meet in a non-league 4A matchup. North Creek (3-3, 1-2 KingCo Crown) averages 37.5 points per game. Glacier Peak (4-1, 1-0 Wesco 4A) is looking for its second win over a KingCo opponent this season.
