What a great day-into-night of racing.
What a long day-into-night of racing Saturday at Evergreen Speedway.
Gary Lewis is now 5-for-5 after winning the Northwest Tour’s 150-lap race, Naima Lang nearly led all 150 laps and recorded his 6th Super Stock division victory and Frank Cowgill avoided trouble and won the Bomber division’s 50-lap race.
Rounding out the Washington 500 was the Camping World Series West 150-lap race, where Auburn, Wash., driver Jeff Barkshire recorded first career series victory.
By the time the streamers had popped and the champagne sprayed around, it was nearly Sunday morning in Monroe.
And now it’s much later Sunday morning, and i’ve just finished getting the Washington 500 package posted to the Web.
