Trailing by 12, the Huskies went on a 7-0 run to get themselves back into the game, and trail 32-26.
As I mentioned in the last post, Washington is lucky to be this close considering its 27.3 percent field goal percentage and nine turnovers. That run late in the half seemed to give the team and the crowd a little bit more energy. Now we’ll see if that can carry over into the second half.
Ryan Appleby leads the Huskies with nine points, but has made just three of 10 shots, nine of which were 3-point attempts. Jon Brockman is struggling to finish as well, and is 3 for 9 for eight points. He also has eight rebounds. James Harden has 11 points to lead Arizona State.
