SEATTLE — Talia Walton and Jazmine Davis scored 20 points apiece to lead Washington over Arizona 76-65 Sunday.
Walton also had 13 rebounds for a double-double. Davis was 6 of 14 from the field for Washington (10-3, 2-0 Pac-12).
Kristi Kingma had 18 points, including four 3-pointers, and Mercedes Wetmore had 10 points. Aminah Williams had 17 rebounds and eight points.
Washington took the lead at 4:55 in the first half and never looked back, leading 37-31 at halftime. Washington shot 38.8 percent from the field for the game, while Arizona shot 35 percent.
Davellyn Whyte led the Wildcats with 17 points and 10 rebounds, reaching her second-consecutive double-double. Alli Gloyd had 11, and Cheshi Poston and Kami Griffitts scored 10 points apiece. Erica Barnes had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats (9-5, 1-1).
