Usually a few Western Conference squads show up on midseason state boys basketball polls. But in the latest rankings by WashingtonPreps.com, Wesco got shut out.
Apparently, teams like Snohomish (11-2 overall), Mariner (11-1), Meadowdale (11-2) and Edmonds-Woodway (10-3) will need to prove themselves in the postseason to get earn recognition. All four squads seem likely to advance to their respective state tournaments.
