SEATTLE — The University of Washington women’s basketball team got some good news Tuesday when sophomore starter Kristi Kingma returned to practice.
Kingma missed Friday’s game at Washington State because of a concussion she suffered the previous weekend. She had not been cleared to practice Monday but was back on the court Tuesday.
Head coach Tia Jackson said she expects to have Kingma, a Jackson High School graduate, for this week’s trip to Arizona.
The Huskies (4-5, 9-10) play at Arizona State (5-4, 13-7) on Thursday and at Arizona (3-6, 9-10) on Saturday.
