First a few links. Here’s Rich Myhre’s story on last night’s basketball game, an easy win over New Jersey Tech. Speaking of which, you can check back here today for in-game updates on the Huskies showdown with Utah.
Also basketball related, today is signing day, so Lorenzo Romar is holding a press conference, which you can watch here if you’re so inclined. Coach Romar just popped his head into the media room and announced that all of the letters are in, so no last-minute surprises of losing a recruit, which is good for Husky fans.
On to football. Here’s our football story from today, which leads off with more on Locker, who is still talking about playing this week, though from talking to both of his backups (Carl Bonnell and Ronnie Fouch) they seem to be treating this week as if Locker will be out.
The San Francisco Chronicle has this story on quarterback Nate Longshore, who had a rough outing against USC. The Oakland Tribune weighed in with a similar story.
