We had a couple of UW football stories today including this notebook with lead on Jake Locker’s injury scare, and Oregon State’s quarterback, who wasn’t as lucky with his injury. John Sleeper has this column on the Huskies win and what it means (and doesn’t).
The Oregonian has this story on Oregon State’s Lyle Moevao, who will start in place of the injured Sean Canfield. This is a lot of the same stuff as the story I linked to yesterday, but has a bit more detail.
For what it’s worth Canfield was hurt on this hit against USC, which drew a late hit penalty. Husky fans, of course, remember USC hitting quarterbacks late from this shot on Jake Locker.
The Corvallis Gazett-Times has this story on Oregon State’s offensive line changes.
