The Huskies are out enjoying some classic Seattle November weather as they prepare for Saturday’s game against UCLA. Jordan Polk, who suffered a concussion last weekend, sat out practice for a second straight day. Otherwise, most of the people with injuries that are questionable did suit up and participate, including; Mesphin Forrester (knee), Senio Kelemete (knee), and Vonzell McDowell, Jr. (elbow).
Willingham sounded more optimistic that Forrester and McDowell could play, but indicated that Kelemete is likely out this week.
Willingham also said that Darin Harris, who has been out most of this year after suffering a concussion against BYU, is out for the year and that the senior will likely not play football again.
“No, Darin will not be back this year, and I would venture to say that the injury he sustained might be career ending.” Willingham said. “Just the severity of [the concussion] was the difference. It’s probably better for him.”
