Lewis Pope, G, South Whidbey
Pope, a senior, scored 30 points as the Falcons beat Granite Falls 73-39 toclinch the Cascade Conference regular-season title, the first for the program since 1989.
Hannah Hezekiah, G, Mariner
Hezekiah, a senior, put in a complete game, posting 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals as the Marauders locked down Jackson in a 52-41 Wesco 4A victory. Hezekiah also played tough defense on Timberwolves standout Olivia Skibiel.
Alexyss Newman, G/P, Glacier Peak
Newman, a junior, scored 12 of her game-high 28 points in the fourth quarter, helping the Grizzlies break open a tough Wesco 4A matchup against Kamiak. Newman also added 16 rebounds in Glacier Peak’s 69-51 win.
