Only a few weeks remain in the regular season and football teams are fighting for a coveted ticket to the playoffs. To see which local teams are in good shape, check out the standings. You can look at each division/conference and see how many teams will advance to the postseason.
A handful of area teams are still undefeated and/or ranked in the top 10. In the new Tacoma News Tribune rankings, the following squads maintained the same slot they owned last week: No. 4 Jackson (Class 4A, 6-0), No. 6 Meadowdale (3A, 6-0), No. 2 Archbishop Murphy (2A, 5-1).
