The Edmonds-Woodway High School football program has come a long way since John Gradwohl took over the program in 1996. Since going 1-8 in coach Gradwohl’s first season, the Warriors have become one of the state’s elite teams.

Edmonds-Woodway (5-0 overall) faces a major test against Kamiak (also 5-0) tonight at Goddard Stadium. It’s a battle of two teams ranked in the WashingtonPreps.com Class 4A poll (E-W is No. 4 and Kamiak is No. 6).
