The WNBA announced the reserves for this Saturday’s all-star game in San Antonio during Tuesday night’s game featuring the Chicago Sky and the Seattle Storm on ESPN 2.
The Western Conference reserves are San Antonio Silver Stars forward Danielle Adams, Minnesota Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson, Phoenix Mercury forward Penny Taylor, Lynx guards Seimone Augustus and Lindsay Whalen and Silver Stars guard Becky Hammon.
The Eastern Conference reserves are New York Liberty forward Essence Carson, Washington Mystics forward Crystal Langhorne, Chicago Sky center Sylvia Fowles, Connecticut Sun guard Renee Montgomery, and Sky guards Epiphanny Prince and Courtney Vandersloot.
The WNBA will have to announce a replacement for Los Angeles Sparks center Candace Parker, who was voted a Western Conference starter by the fans, but is unable to play because of a knee injury. Seattle Storm head coach Brian Agler, who is coaching the Western Conference get to pick the player off of his roster who will replace Parker in the starting lineup.
