GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany — Dense fog forced organizers to cancel two World Cup races Saturday.
A women’s Super-G race was scheduled to follow the men’s downhill, but fog shrouded sections of the course and failed to lift.
The women’s Super-G race was rescheduled for Sunday and will take place before a men’s slalom. There was no immediate decision on whether the men’s downhill would be rescheduled.
The races on the redesigned Kandahar course were seen as a warmups for the World Championship in Val d’Isere that starts Tuesday with a women’s Super-G.
