Week 10

Day 64 – July 29:

Description: Tour de Terrace fireworks show

Location: Evergreen Playfield at 220th Street SW and

56th Avenue W. in Mountlake Terrace

Time: 10 p.m.

Cost: Free

Other: At the Evergreen Playfield before the

fireworks, visitors can enjoy live music, a beer garden,

craft booths, inflatable toys, a carnival and a food court

from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Day 65 – July 30:

Description: Shawn’s Kugle, Klezmer

Location: Edmonds City Park at Third Avenue and Pine Street

Time: 3-4 p.m.

Cost: Free

Other: This concert will be followed by the Edmonds Idol competition. So enjoy the concert and hang around to listen and vote for your favorite Edmonds Idol contestant.

Day 65 – July 31:

Description: Summer Skate Crew Langley Trip

Location: Pick-up and drop-off at the Lynnwood Recreation Center, 18900 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood

Time: Noon-5 p.m.

Cost: $5 resident/ $7 non-resident

Other: For teens in grades seven to twelve. Enjoy a few hours of fun at the Langley outdoor skate park Info and register: 425-771-4030 or http://reccpmmect.ci.lynnwood.wa.us.

Day 67 – Aug. 1:

Description: Playtime at Third Place

Location: Third Place Commons at Lake Forest Park Town Center is at the intersection of Ballinger Way NE (SR 104) and Bothell Way NE (SR 522)

Time: 10-11:30 a.m.

Cost: Free

Other: Children, ages 2-5 are invited with parents, grandparents or a caregiver to play, create and learn during this facilitated playtime. Activities include art projects, playdough, singing g songs. Info: 206-363-7282 or www.chs-nw.org.

Day 68 – Aug. 2:

Description: Lois LaFond’s Original Percolating Concert

Location: Library Park, 15429 Bothell-Everett Highway, Mill Creek

Time: Noon-1 p.m.

Cost: Free

Other: Part of the city of Mill Creek’s Parks and Recreation Department’s children’s concert series. Parking is available in the library parking lot and on the north side of the street off 156th Street SE.

Day 69 – Aug. 3:

Description: “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” performed by GreenStage

Location: Lynndale Park Amphitheater, 18927 72nd Ave. W., Lynnwood

Time: Starts at 7 p.m.

Cost: Free

Other: Bring a blanket and enjoy the play, part of the “Shakespeare in the Park” series.

Day 70 – Aug. 4:

Description: Cinema Under the Stars -“The Goonies”

Location: Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake, 1104 Silver Lake Road, Everett

Time: 7 p.m. for the pre-show &dusk for the movie

Cost: $1 as a suggested donation

Other: Bring a comfortable chair and favorite munchies and enjoy dance and gymnastic performers followed by the movie.
