What follows are updates on various road construction projects in the Mill Creek area:

East of Mill Creek

The full road closure of 35th Avenue SE. between 185th Place and 180th Street SE. runs through Aug. 23. The daily closure of the road will allow construction crews to install sewer lines. Detours are posted.

Two daytime lane closures, meanwhile, have been extended through Aug. 31.

Lanes and shoulders will be closed at 148th Avenue SE. east of Seattle Hill Road, and 41st Avenue SE. in the same area so construction crews can reinforce a gas main. In addition, daytime single lane closures on Silver Crest Drive and 138th Street SE. have been extended so crews can do gas main work.

Elsewhere, a lane on Sunset Road between 169th Street SE. and Strumme Road are closed during the day until Oct. 31. Crews are installing utilities and making frontage improvements for a future subdivision.

A lane on 138th Street SE. west of Seattle Hill Road will be closed intermittently between now and Sept. 16. The closure, which will take place during the daytime, is to allow crews to install utilities and make frontage improvements for a development.

South of Mill Creek

A lane on 192nd Street SE. between Waxon Road and the Bothell-Everett Highway will be closed during the daytime until Aug. 31. Crews are installing utilities and making frontage improvements for a future subdivision.
