Three people were hospitalized after a traffic collision Monday afternoon, July 9, police said.

Two cars were involved in a “T-bone” crash about 1:30 p.m. in the 21800 block of 76th Avenue West, Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said.

The occupants of one of the cars, two elderly Edmonds residents, were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, he said. A woman in her 80s reportedly suffered serious injuries.

The owner of the other car was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

Officers closed the road for several hours during the investigation, Anderson said.
