Moonlight Beach Adventure: 7:30 p.m., Aug. 21. Edmonds Discovery Programs Ranger-Naturalists will present an evening interpretive program. The program will include a chance to see and touch some real live creatures from the deep, brought to shore by volunteer scuba divers, and later returned to the water unharmed. All ages are welcome to come and participate. No registration is necessary Admission: free. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight to the event, taking place at Marina Beach, at the south end of Admiral Way in Edmonds.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum &Bailey Circus: 7:30 p.m. Aug. 26 and 27; 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28; 1 and 5 p.m. Aug. 29, The seminal circus comes through Everett with its new show, “FUNundrum!” featuring ringmaster Jonathan Lee Iverson, the youngest ringmaster in the history of the show. The circus takes place at Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Tickets: $17- $20, VIP $32, Front Row $50, Circus Celebrity $80. Kids tickets are $10 with the purchase of an adult ticket.
SHORELINE
Celebrate Shoreline: Aug. 17-22, Shoreline hosts a variety of events – including a festival, sandcastle building contest skate competition and parade – to celebrate its 15th anniversary.
