A sane argument to caging responsible adults for using the relatively safe, socially acceptable, God-given plant cannabis (marijuana) doesn’t exist and then Jeanne M. Ferguson eludes to hemp with out THC (“Cannabis plant has many uses,” Jan. 29).
A head-shaking realization concerning hemp farming is that communist Chinese farmers are allowed to grow hemp but free American farmers may not. Ironically, America’s greatest debt to a foreign country is with China. It’s time to re-introduce hemp as a component of American agriculture because hemp prohibition is anti-American.
