Good evening ladies and gentlemen. My name is Amanda Swan. I have been a student at Scriber since September 2000. Since then I have seen many students come and go, but the strong have truly survived. I am representing the graduating class of 2004.
Tonight we celebrate the completion of 12 years of schooling and look toward what will be in store for us in the future. It has been a long road for most of us, and a difficult one for some, but the fact is, we made it. Tonight we are all winners.
I remember what I was like the day I came to Scriber. I was scared, shy and quiet, but look at me now. I am loud, opinionated and not afraid to express myself. I think that is what Scriber does for most of us – gives us the confidence to be ourselves. We are strong, proud and ready to take on the real world.
Congratulations Class of 2004 – WE DID IT!!!
