Bob and Bette Anderson of Lynnwood observed their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 30, 2004. The couple met in 1953 in Rockford, Ill., and married one year later in 1954.
The Andersons relocated to Seattle with their three children in 1962, when Bob was employed as an engineer with the Boeing Company. For many years Bob and Bette ran their own family business known as Interiors by Bette.
In 1996 the couple moved to Lynnwood and have been active in the community, including volunteering for Lynnwood Police’s VIPS (Volunteers in Public Safety) program. The two work as a team on their weekly patrols.
