A convenient slide show
The Shoreline Solar Project will be hosting a presentation by Christy Nordstrom, a volunteer presenter of The Climate Project’s slide show based on former Vice President Al Gore’s book and movie, ”An Inconvenient Truth” at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday Jan. 17 at Meridian Park School, 17077 Meridian Ave. North, in Shoreline.
Nordstrom, of Seattle, has recently completed a certificate training program led by Gore to spread the message about the climate crisis and solutions to global warming.
Nordstrom was one of 1,000 individuals chosen to receive the training. Each trainee took part in an intensive workshop about the science surrounding the climate crisis, led by Gore. Many renowned scientists and environmental educators were in attendance, according to a press release.
