Dancers get thrilling chance to set record
Dancers from Applause Studio Mill Creek hope to set a new world’s record at 3 p.m. simultaneously performing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” routine with thousands of dancers around the world.
“The Thrill The World” event has been approved for consideration as a new world record by Record Holders Republic “Registry of Official World Records.”
Applause Studio has organized a group of dancers who will perform the nearly six minute routine at The Forum in Town Center. The performers, ranging in age from 10-51, will be in full zombie costumes. Community members are encouraged to attend the event to cheer dancers on and witness the record in the making.
Libraries launch satisfaction survey
You can check out books, sit in on a preschool storytime, access the Internet, do homework or read a magazine at any Sno-Isle Library. Now there’s one more thing you can do: tell the library what you think about it.
This month, Sno-Isle Libraries launched an online customer satisfaction survey, “Counting Opinions.” The survey is available at the Sno-Isle Libraries’ Web site at www.sno-isle.org.
As a continuous feedback system, the survey program will allow library staff to track customer satisfaction and trends over time. The results will be used to make changes and improvements to library service. There are two versions of the survey available. The short version should take about seven minutes to complete; the long version should take 12-15 minutes.
