ArtWorks, the non-profit visual arts facility operated by Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation, will host an Art Class Demo Night from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29.

The Art Class Expo is an opportunity to meet the instructors of upcoming fall classes, see their work, watch them demonstrate how it’s done, and to ask questions.

ArtWorks, “A Gathering Place For Artists,” offers classes and workshops in portraiture, still life, figure drawing and printmaking using all the traditional mediums — drawing, watercolor, acrylic, oil and oil pastel. Most classes are oriented towards beginners and intermediate skill levels, while some are offered for the more advanced student.

Sign up for a class at the event and receive a 5 percent discount.

For information or to register for a class, contact Ken Smith at 425-774-6049 or send e-mail to artworks@eaffoundation.org.
