Myles Bittinger

Jackson High School

The Wolfpack senior wrestler took first place in the 171-pound division at the eight-team Edmonds School District Invitational on Jan. 5. Bittinger barely worked up a sweat by recording pins in 20 seconds, 34 seconds and then at the 2- minute, 54-second mark in the finals. The Jackson standout’s performance helped lead the Timberwolves to a third-place finish in the team competition, the Wolfpack’s best-ever showing at the tournament.

Alex Kenney

Edmonds-Woodway High School

The freshman guard sank a 3-pointer just before the buzzer to lift the Warriors to a 56-53 victory over Shorewood in a Western Conference South Division game Jan. 4 at Shorewood High School.
