Ballots for the Aug. 7 primary election will be in the mail Thursday.

Snohomish County elections officials say they will mail the ballots July 19, and send out voters pamphlets at about the same time.

Ballots must be mailed with a postmark on or before Aug. 7 or left by 8 p.m. Election Day at 24-hour ballot drop boxes near the Edmonds and Lynnwood libraries or any of nine other sites around the county.

Voters pamphlets go to all residential addresses in the county.
