Bank of Washington welcomes new board member

The Bank of Washington has elected Veteran Investment Manager Glenn Gregory of Bellevue to its board of directors of the community-owned bank system. Gregory is president and portfolio manager of Obsidian Investment Advisors, a registered investment advisory firm Gregory launched in 1998. Prior to opening his registered investment advisory firm, Gregory completed a successful career in international business development with British Petroleum, General Motors and Microsoft. He holds an electrical engineering degree from Cornell University and a master’s degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Administration. Gregory has served on regional task forces, including the Seattle mayor’s study of economic opportunity and for minority contracting; the King County Healthy Families and Communities Task Force; and Governor Christine Gregoire’s Global Competitiveness Council. In the private sector, he serves on the board of directors for DKA, an architectural services firm, and Ezell’s Famous Chicken restaurants. He is a director of the non-profit Tabor 100, an organization active in encouraging members of the community to participate in human service organizations.
