A committee looking at elementary attendance boundary changes in Everett School District’s south end will meet to craft a final recommendation for superintendent Carol Whitehead. The meeting is 4-7 p.m. Aug. 16 in the Penny Creek Elementary School library.

Early proposals shifted more than 1,000 students from one school to another in 2007. That’s when a seventh elementary opens in the area, making boundary changes necessary. The recommendation is being refined after public comment was made in summer.
